چکیده

Abstract Stress controlled cyclic triaxial tests have been carried out on coastal sand of Digha, West Bengal, India at different frequencies, confining pressures, relative densities and number loading cycles for determination influence these parameters strength (expressed in terms stress ratio) initial liquefaction Digha sand. The test results provide evidence that increasing density increases potential, though it has found increase effective pressure reduces Cyclic decreases with a specific particular pressure. It observed frequency does any significant the An empirical correlation developed based this fits quite well experimental results.
